Schools go Fishing
Prompted by an article written in Carp-Talk, Lac Diable has offered the use of the lake, for a week, for up to 4 school pupils and their tutor(s) as reported in Carp-Talk.
Lake available for schools
Following the snippet in issue 740 which we ran about 'Schools Go Fishing', Carp-Talk has received a very kind offer of a week's fishing available to the first school which contacts them wishing to introduce pupils to angling.
Lac Diable, France, wishes to help. Owners Daisy Thomas and Colin Jeans revealed:
"We found this very interesting and something that we always felt strongly about when we talked in the past about the intentions of our fishery.
We have a five-acre lake in France and we wish to show our support of such a scheme by offering a free week's fishing for up to four students with their tutors."
This offer is subject to the following conditions:
The students are accompanied by a responsible teacher/tutor from within their school.
Offer does not include transport to and from the lake, food, fishing equipment or bait.
